Ok, this time I really do not have any good excuses, except I'm toooooooooooooo busy!!!!
Thought I'd let you in on one of my favourite Pasta sauces...................simple, quick and very easy to make!!
PENNY'S GARLIC & CORIANDER PASTA SAUCE
Ingredients
2 cups fresh milk
1/2 cup fresh cream
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon flour (to thicken, you may need a bit more!!)
4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
About 1 cup of finely chopped fresh coriander
salt & pepper to taste
Method
Melt butter in a heavy based saucepan on slow heat, add garlic and let cook for about a minute, add flour and stir, turn up the heat a bit and add the milk and cream. (You must stir all the time other wise it will get lumpy!!) Add the fresh coriander and salt and pepper to taste, lower the heat and let the sauce cook for about 3 minutes. Serve with Pasta.
Variation: You can add some finely chopped crisply fried Bacon - Delicious.
This is something I figured out on my own one evening when I had the munchies, and although I don't measure out the ingredients, I have tried to give you a rough idea of the amounts.
Enjoy
